Leighel's journey to style began at 12 when she made her own graduation dress on a toy sewing machine that you turn by hand. She went on to the High School of Fashion Industries and The Fashion Institute of Technology. She worked for 25 years in the New York fashion industry for companies like Judy Bond, Ann Klein, and Butterick Patterns. Leighel’s move to the DC metro area prompted her to create her own collection in 1997. She began selling her collection to boutiques across the country and developing relationships with shop owners and individual clients. Leighel provides styles and services that keep her extraordinary clients in compliments.
